Role Summary

The Director, Pricing & Access Analytics is responsible for developing and applying advanced analytical techniques to inform pricing, contracting, and access business decisions across the Liquidia portfolio. This role will drive quantitative insights and tools, strategic modeling, and scenario planning to support pricing execution, contract negotiations, and profitability optimization aligned with brand strategy.

Position can be hybrid schedule based out of our RTP, NC headquarters or remote if selected candidate is not local to NC.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Market Access, Brand, and Finance teams to integrate analytical insights into broader strategic initiatives, support decision-making, and align financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support development of pricing & contracting strategies that appropriately maintain access, manage reimbursement rates, and optimize gross-to-net across product portfolios, while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Conduct rebate invoice processing analysis, month-end gross-to-net reporting process, and periodic government price reporting.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics models, using techniques such as predictive modeling, and statistical analytics to drive insights into customer behavior, market trends, and product performance.
  • Build pricing and contracting models and conduct scenario planning (WAC price changes, discounts and rebates, GP reporting implications, share shifts, etc.).
  • Model impacts resulting from changes in various reimbursement pricing, formulas, contracting and competitive scenarios, rebate forecasts, evolving government legislation, and business case rationale.
  • Track win/loss trends to refine pricing and contracting strategies. Provide insights into pricing and contracting performance and recommend adjustments based on trends.
  • Support contract negotiations with ROI and access impact analysis ensuring pricing aligns with customer-specific needs and internal profitability targets.
  • Lead dashboard and report development and business review analytics that effectively measure, track, and quantify changes payer/brand business segment, and competitor business patterns.
  • Monitor and analyze industry, payer and customer trends, competitor pricing, and market conditions; conduct competitor benchmarking to refine internal pricing models and identify market gaps.
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on Market Access needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical pricing and contracting, with direct experience with pharmaceuticals covered under pharmacy and medical benefits, or equivalent experience.
  • Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place or stated requirements.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of the US payer and market access environment and reimbursement methodologies
  • Direct experience in pulmonary or rare disease providing a thorough and complete knowledge of the industry, pharmaceutical pricing, payers' controls and reimbursement dynamics.
  • Direct experience analyzing and modeling and modeling the impact of competitor actions, customer buying patterns, evolving government legislation, and overall market trends, and assist with providing rationale for company positions.
  • Excellent Analytical, business strategy and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Advanced modeling skills including experience in developing financial models and the ability to succinctly and clearly communicate implications of financial modeling to management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with proven presentation and training skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of operating independently with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

  • None specified beyond Bachelorโ€™s degree
