About The Role
Director, Pipeline Analytics (Commercial Effectiveness), reporting to Senior Director, Commercial Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of advanced analytics-driven insights to inform commercial strategies for pipeline assets.
- Build market opportunity assessments using epidemiology, treatment flows, and payer dynamics.
- Conduct patient journey analysis (comorbidities, diagnosis, treatment patterns, LOT analyses, adherence) using APLD and real-world data.
- Develop claims-data-based patient and HCP market maps.
- Create physician, institution, and patient segmentation models to guide targeting.
- Collaborate to translate patient journey insights and late-stage clinical outcomes into commercial forecasts with scenario planning (market access, competitive landscape, uptake).
- Integrate payer landscape analyses into GTM scenarios to anticipate access and contracting impacts.
- Align targeting/segmentation outputs with field force sizing, structure, and call plans.
- Use advanced analytics techniques and innovate with APLD, claims, EMR, and patient-level datasets.
- Partner with Marketing and Market Access; serve as analytics subject matter expert.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelorβs degree and 7+ years commercial experience in pharma/biotech.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data (sales, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional/marketing, longitudinal patient-level).
- Experience in pharmaceutical commercialization.
- Deep expertise with APLD and real-world data; patient journey/treatment flow analyses.
- US market experience (global beneficial).
- SQL, Python, R, SAS (or similar); strong verbal/written communication; influence without authority.
- Matrix teamwork and autonomy; organized, detail-oriented.
Nice to Have
- Degree in data science/health economics/statistics/marketing analytics; MBA/MS; rare disease/specialty/respiratory experience.
