Role Summary
Director, Pipeline Analytics on the Commercial Effectiveness team to develop analytics-driven insights that inform commercial strategies for pipeline assets. This hands-on role involves data manipulation, analytics, and narrative development to drive action across cross-functional teams, leveraging real-world data and advanced modeling to shape patient journey insights, segmentation, targeting, and launch optimization.
Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market & Launch Analytics
- Build market opportunity assessments that incorporate epidemiology, treatment flows, and payer dynamics to shape launch strategies
- Lead patient journey analysis using APLD and real-world data to identify opportunities and barriers to adoption
- Develop robust claims data-based patient and HCP market maps
- Develop physician, institution, and patient segmentation models to guide targeting strategies
- Commercial Planning
- Collaborate with clinical and forecasting teams to translate patient journey insights and outcomes into robust commercial forecasts with scenario planning
- Integrate payer landscape analyses into GTM scenarios to anticipate access hurdles and contracting impacts
- Partner with Field Strategy & Operations to align targeting/segmentation outputs with field force sizing, structure, and call plans
- Advanced Data & Methods
- Apply advanced analytics techniques and drive innovative use of APLD, claims, EMR, and patient-level datasets to strengthen commercial insights
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to shape product positioning strategies based on analytics-driven insights
- Work with Market Access to model pricing, reimbursement, and payer adoption scenarios
- Serve as the analytics subject matter expert in cross-functional teams and governance bodies
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree plus 7 years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech
- Required: Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data (sales, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)
- Required: Experience with commercialization of pharmaceutical products
- Required: Strong blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and experience informing business decisions with data
- Required: Deep expertise with APLD and real-world data (claims, EMR, patient-level), including patient journey and treatment flow analyses
- Required: Experience within the US market (experience with global markets beneficial)
- Required: Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority
- Required: Solid understanding and expertise in conducting analyses with actionable insights
- Required: Proficient in working with distributed teams in a matrix environment and able to work autonomously
- Required: Technical proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar)
- Required: Ability to utilize different data sets (marketing data, sales, claims, access) in building models to answer key business questions
- Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Required: Highly organized with attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
- Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Preferred: Degree in data science, Health Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or related quantitative field
- Preferred: MBA, MS or other advanced degree
- Preferred: Rare disease / specialty / respiratory experience

Additional Requirements
- Location: Fully remote role; occasional travel for team meetings or events expected
- Travel Requirements: Occasional domestic travel (approximately 5%β15%)
