The Position
- Set the strategic direction and agenda for people-related processes and organizational development to enable site business priorities and DPM US P&O priorities.
- Act as trusted advisor to the Site Head and Site Leadership team.
- Ensure fit-for-purpose world class P&O initiatives, operations, and processes.
- Lead P&O agenda for culture/engagement, organizational development and change management, talent development, strategic workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and local P&O operational excellence.
- Develop and drive P&O strategies aligned to business and GMS/DPM US P&O priorities; lead business review discussions on organizational response/development.
- Own training strategy and capability development planning at the site(s) (execution by DPM US Training).
- Assess and continuously improve P&O processes across the employee lifecycle (attraction, onboarding, development, performance, rewards, exit).
- Lead the P&O team, provide performance/behavior feedback, role model enterprise leadership, and enable scalable solutions across DPM US sites.
- Lead special projects (e.g., M&A integration, greenfield handover) including organizational integration and workforce planning.
- Role model Novo Nordisk way, collaborate with stakeholders, maintain P&O shop floor presence and escalate issues.
- Follow global/local P&O, legal, safety, and environmental policies; perform all duties in compliance with safety/environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree (Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant) required.
- Masterโs degree in related field preferred.
- PHR or SPHR preferred.
- 10+ years broad HR management experience required (preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing).
- 5+ years direct people management experience required.
- Strong HR functions/process knowledge; experience driving HR Annual Wheel and strategic P&O processes.
- U.S. employment law knowledge preferred.
- M&A/integration experience preferred.
- Experience with senior leadership teams and cross-functional collaboration required; shopfloor experience preferred.
