Responsibilities:
- Set strategic direction and agenda for people-related processes and organizational development to enable business and DPM US P&O priorities.
- Act as trusted advisor to the Site Head and Site Leadership; ensure world-class P&O initiatives, operations, and “fit for purpose” processes.
- Develop and drive P&O strategies/priorities aligned to site and GMS/DPM US P&O plans; lead organizational response and development discussions in Business Review.
- Own site training strategy and capability development planning; partner with DPM US Training for execution/delivery.
- Assess and continuously improve P&O processes across the employee life cycle (attraction, onboarding, development, performance, rewards, exit).
- Lead and develop the P&O team; deliver feedback, empower direct reports, role model enterprise leadership, and ensure scalable solutions across DPM US sites.
- Lead special projects (e.g., M&A integration response and greenfield handover planning) including organizational integration and workforce planning.
- Champion company values and Novo Nordisk Way; model P&O shop-floor presence and escalation of P&O issues.
- Perform duties aligned with global/local P&O, legal, safety, and environmental policies; follow all safety/environment requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field (required). Master’s preferred.
- PHR or SPHR (preferred).
- 10+ years broad HR management experience (preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing) (required).
- 5+ years direct people management experience (required).
- Strong HR process knowledge, HR Annual Wheel and strategic P&O processes; U.S. employment law knowledge preferred.
- Experience with M&A/integrations preferred; experience with senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration required; shop-floor experience preferred.
