How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead design, optimization, and execution of the patient access ecosystem in the US across co-pay programs, patient services (hub), field reimbursement, and pharmacy coordination.
- Own the end-to-end patient journey from prescription through therapy initiation and persistence; build and lead a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) organization; oversee third-party patient services vendors; establish business rules for a consistent, efficient, patient-centric access experience.
Responsibilities
- Improve the access journey (first fill, persistent refill, recapture) via coordination across specialty pharmacies, patient services, and field reimbursement.
- Eliminate friction in prior authorization, therapy initiation, and refill continuity to reduce abandonment and improve adherence.
- Design/operationalize access pathways and business rules across channels; ensure patient-centric experiences across retail, specialty, and cash-pay.
- Build/scale FRM model; enhance provider engagement and accelerate access resolution to support commercial goals.
- Lead patient services and co-pay programs; optimize spend, SLAs, vendor performance, and vendor transitions.
- Establish KPIs/governance; ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies; partner with Sales, Trade & Distribution, pharmacy partners, Marketing/Medical/Finance/Compliance.
To Succeed In This Role
- Bachelorβs required; MBA or equivalent preferred; 12β15+ years in pharma/biotech market access, patient services, reimbursement, or related.
- Significant co-pay/hub leadership; proven third-party vendor/SLAs management.
- Preferred: experience building field-based reimbursement/access teams.
- Strong business, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional influence skills.
