Role: The Director, Patient Focused Drug Development and Innovation leads Sarepta's patient-centric frameworks, integrating patient and caregiver insights into R&D across muscle, CNS, and cardiac disease programs, with a focus on rare diseases like Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Responsibilities: develop and execute global strategies to embed patient input in trial design, recruitment, and retention; establish operational infrastructure for patient insights; create metrics to measure impact; build relationships with patient communities; contribute to advocacy efforts; ensure compliance with industry and global guidelines; and support education initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field; 12+ years of patient advocacy experience, preferably in rare diseases; strong understanding of drug development, compliance, and patient facing roles; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work in a collaborative, global, matrix environment.
