Director, Patient Advocacy & Engagement

Role: Director of Patient Advocacy & Engagement focused on systemic mastocytosis programs, with responsibility for developing and executing strategic initiatives to raise awareness, foster partnerships, and integrate patient insights across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include building global advocacy relationships, leading strategic planning, managing patient education initiatives, conducting advisory boards, collaborating with cross-functional teams (including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development), overseeing vendor activities, and representing Cogent at key advocacy events. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 8-12+ years in patient advocacy, patient engagement, or related roles within the biopharma industry, with experience in rare diseases, hematology, or oncology preferred. Proven success in commercialization, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership. High-value specifics: Focus on rare hematologic conditions (systemic mastocytosis, GIST), early to late-stage development, patient-centered initiatives, digital health campaigns, and global advocacy engagement. Work setup: remote U.S. role, with up to 30% travel to U.S. and international congresses and patient events.
