General Summary
- Lead the strategy, optimization, and governance of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) platform supporting global finance operations.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead accounting technology strategy, roadmap, and governance for Oracle EBS and related finance systems.
- Partner with Accounting/Finance/IT on enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and support models.
- Oversee design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle EBS financial modules.
- Drive automation and process improvements across close, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing.
- Ensure compliant, accurate, timely accounting operations and reporting.
- Maintain SOX/internal control environments with Controllership, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing strategy, and UAT for system changes.
- Evaluate upstream/downstream integrations affecting accounting data and reporting.
- Establish performance metrics for system effectiveness, data quality, and process efficiency.
- Manage finance technology initiatives, including vendors/implementation partners.
- Lead/mentor team; support change management, training, and adoption.
Knowledge And Skills
- Deep Oracle EBS Financials expertise.
- Strong accounting/controllership knowledge (Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay; GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Mgmt; close/reporting).
- Internal controls/SOX, ERP integrations, data integrity, reconciliation processes.
- Process optimization/automation, analytical/problem-solving, strong stakeholder communication.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/IS or related) required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in financial systems leadership in a regulated industry (biotech preferred).
Pay Range
- $198,000 - $297,000
