Director, Oncology Priority Accounts (field-based; remote support)
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs from departments to C-suite; anticipate and leverage market trends and clearly communicate insights/priorities.
- Develop strategic approaches that advance Novartis goals and strengthen key account relationships.
- Lead strategy and execution pre- and during launch by coordinating HQ, account, and regional teams.
- Serve as main oncology contact; facilitate exchanges with C-suite/D-suite stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional teamwork to resolve issues and remove obstacles.
- Own account performance with a performance-driven mindset.
- Manage communication and internal coordination with Customer Engagement executives and other teams; relay strategic changes aligned to company objectives.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similar; includes at least 2 cross-functional role types; field leadership and customer engagement experience valued.
- 2+ years project management; translating strategy into execution.
- 2+ years leading complex, cross-functional projects with national alignment.
- Proven execution/results; strong influencing, tact, and diplomacy.
- Reside within territory (or within 100 miles of territory border). Travel 60–80% and drive/fly within territory; valid driver’s license.
Desirable Requirements
- 3+ years account management in Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, and/or integrated oncology networks.
- Oncology therapeutic area experience.

- Driving is an essential function; must have fully valid/unrestricted driver’s license.
Compensation/Benefits (US eligible employees)
