Key Responsibilities
- Own Oncology AI product strategy and roadmap across discovery, translational science, clinical development, and real-world evidence.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of AI engineers (technical direction, prioritization, coaching).
- Translate scientific/operational problems into AI product requirements, success metrics, and delivery plans.
- Partner with Oncology scientific leaders, clinical teams, Digital, Enterprise AI, and IT to align with enterprise platforms and governance.
- Evaluate AI concepts/prototypes/approaches and provide guidance on trade-offs.
- Assess Oncology workflows to identify automation and process improvements.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, change management, and adoption beyond pilots.
- Establish lightweight governance, delivery standards, and value tracking.
- Represent Oncology AI initiatives in leadership and cross-enterprise forums.

Basic Qualifications
- PhD (CS/ML/Data Science/Software Engineering/AI or related) + 5+ years applied analytical experience OR Master’s + 7+ years.
- Demonstrated impact leading AI-enabled products/platforms/analytics in pharma/biotech/healthcare tech/AI startups.
- Strong understanding of Oncology R&D workflows and AI/data in scientific/clinical decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
- High technical fluency to evaluate AI/ML approaches without hands-on coding.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at the intersection of science, product management, and engineering.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (data pipelines, model development, prototyping).
- Experience scaling AI in large regulated organizations.

Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $176,600–$294,300.
- Eligible for Global Performance Plan bonus target: 20% of base salary and long-term incentive program.
