Role Summary

The Director of U.S. Marketing, Monarch is responsible for developing the U.S. marketing strategy and integrating it into sales execution. This remote role is based in the United States. It leads a marketing team, hiring, training and developing staff while fostering an inclusive environment. The role collaborates with Sales, Finance, the Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA), Global Business Insights (GBI), U.S. & Global Strategic Marketing, Corporate Communications, Commercial Operations, and Professional & Commercial Education, as well as external agencies and vendors, to drive commercial initiatives in the disruptive field of medical robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a coordinated Business Plan to reach financial goals for the business
  • Establish an annual Marketing Plan aligned to budget and implement promotional tactics
  • Develop strategies and tactics to enhance the MONARCH Value Proposition
  • Develop new concepts and products, portfolio management and prioritization of new opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis
  • Coordinate profitability, forecast, and market share attainment
  • Apply market research and analytics to gain insights to help prioritize resources and adapt tactics as needed
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the field on promotional activities
  • Support development of evidence generation plan to strengthen the value proposition
  • Work with various business partners on market access strategy and tactics
  • Work compliantly and within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals
  • Work closely with field leadership, marketing partners, finance, customer excellence team and data analytics team to ensure appropriate resources and organizational alignment to capitalize on short-term and long-term business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Required: A Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: MBA (Master of Business Administration) or advanced degree

Skills

  • Required: A minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience (Sales and Marketing)
  • Required: A minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing
  • Required: At least 2 years of healthcare experience with proven success
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Required: Ability to navigate and achieve business impact across the organization
  • Required: Leadership, effective communication, relationship development, collaboration, project management and organizational influence skills
  • Preferred: Experience developing brand strategy and positions
  • Preferred: Experience preparing strategic briefs and resolving implementation issues
  • Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of brand marketing, customer segmentation and marketing communications
  • Preferred: Experience in customer selling and interaction

Additional Requirements

  • Up to 30% travel (international and domestic)
