Director of Training, Global Medical Affairs

Role: Director of Training, Global Medical Affairs, leading the development and execution of a comprehensive training strategy for cell therapy programs across clinical and commercial stages. Responsibilities: design role-specific onboarding, certification, and ongoing learning programs for Medical and Commercial teams; develop training content on disease states, product design, manufacturing, clinical data, safety, and competitive landscape; oversee virtual and onsite training delivery; collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, CMC, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams to align training with launch and lifecycle strategies; ensure compliance with global regulatory standards; establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness and readiness; partner with HR on onboarding initiatives. Requirements: advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD); 10+ years in biotech/pharma, with at least 5 years in Medical Affairs leadership or training roles; direct experience in cell/gene therapy preferred, with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks for advanced therapies; excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and infrastructure-building skills.
