Role: Director of Scientific Communications & Evidence Generation responsible for developing and executing strategies to disseminate Genetix's scientific data, generate real-world evidence, and support product value and safety profiles. Responsibilities include managing publication planning in compliance with GPP and ICMJE, leading evidence generation activities such as RWE, HEOR, and investigator-sponsored research, and collaborating cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams. The role involves overseeing non-promotional scientific education programs, synthesizing feedback from multiple sources, and ensuring research quality and compliance with ICH-GCP standards. Requirements: MD, PharmD, or PhD in biomedical sciences with 8+ years in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within biopharma, preferably with expertise in hematology, oncology, or cell and gene therapy. Strong scientific writing, stakeholder management, and understanding of compliance frameworks are essential. Preferred: experience with hemoglobinopathies (SCD, Ξ²-thalassemia), gene therapies, long-term safety monitoring, and omnichannel education. The position is hybrid, based in Somerville, MA, with responsibilities spanning scientific publication, evidence generation, and cross-functional partnership to support gene therapy indications.
