Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for SMA and ALS across commercial and government payer segments.
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution across all MA&R functions to ensure alignment with approved strategies.
- Coordinate with the Rare Disease Franchise to align overall strategy and messaging.
- Deliver payer value propositions, messaging, and promotional materials tailored to key customer segments.
- Champion pull-through activities to optimize access.
- Partner with Medical, HEOR, and Global V&A to support evidence generation for access strategy.
- Define and drive contracting strategy with Brand, legal, and finance.
- Develop pricing and innovative contracting strategies, including value-based contracts.
- Model scenario-based business cases for senior leadership.
- Research and analyze market landscape data/trends to develop customized solutions.
- Support free drug and co-pay support strategies.
- Support SP and SD strategies to optimize patient access.
- Execute and support training for MA&R RADs and NADs.
- Evaluate MA&R performance supporting the Rare Disease Franchise.
- Lead/support multiple cross-functional teams as a market access expert.
- Support pipeline activities for SMA and ALS populations.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ yearsβ experience in U.S. market access, payer marketing, pricing, or related roles in pharma/biotech.
Required Skills:
- Cross-functional ability to develop payer messaging, contracting strategy, business cases, and field training/communication plans.
- Knowledge of payer research methodologies, financial analyses, and gross-to-net dynamics.
- Strong analytical/strategic/critical thinking skills to translate data into strategy.
- Ability to present complex pricing topics to senior executives.
