Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel communications strategies for the U.S. Specialty Franchise (lupus), supporting franchise priorities and business objectives.
- Lead lupus communications; support pre-launch and launch priorities, data milestones, awareness initiatives, and lifecycle management.
- Advise franchise leadership on messaging, stakeholder engagement, media relations, issues management, and reputation-building.
- Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Corporate Affairs for coordinated, compliant execution.
- Create and execute consumer- and physician-focused campaigns (CLE and SLE) with clear objectives, defined KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
- Build external relationships with patient advocacy organizations, healthcare professional organizations, and digital influencers/opinion leaders.
- Work with Government Affairs, Public Policy, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy to identify/monitor and address policy and access issues affecting treatment.
- Manage agency partners, external consultants, budgets, and performance measurement frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/life sciences communications.
- Immunology required; lupus experience preferred; experience supporting commercialized medicines.
- Demonstrated product communications, strategic storytelling, and multi-channel campaign development.
- Proven success leading consumer and HCP communications with measurable outcomes.
- Strong experience translating clinical/scientific/medical information into compelling narratives.
- Strong patient advocacy and external stakeholder engagement experience.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and agency management skills.
