Director, Neuroscience Strategic Management, Chief of Staff

Responsibilities:
- Partner with VP, Neuroscience Discovery Research, to develop, communicate, and execute organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence through planning, governance, and execution.
- Support leadership effectiveness (agendas, decision-making, follow-up actions, alignment).
- Coordinate and monitor cross-functional high-impact initiatives; identify risks/dependencies to accelerate delivery.
- Advise VP with objective analysis, recommendations, and actionable insights.
- Foster collaboration across Discovery Research functions, disease areas, and sites.
- Partner with functional leaders on organizational planning, resource prioritization, change management, and business process improvements.
- Coordinate strategic external engagements and partnerships aligned with Neuroscience priorities.
- Create executive communications/materials; partner with Finance/Business Management/Discovery Research leadership on planning and objectives.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in Neuroscience or related discipline.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare/consulting or related.
- Experience in R&D, program management, business operations, strategic planning, alliance management, or consulting.
- Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent written/verbal communication for senior leaders.
- Ability to influence stakeholders; experience supporting senior executives; change management/transformation experience.
- Familiarity with Discovery Research and drug discovery environment.
