Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting a Priority Accounts team in an assigned geography. The Director, Neuroscience Priority Accounts leads the regional priority account team to meet and exceed objectives across the Neuroscience portfolio, develops and executes the Regional Priority Accounts engagement strategy, and oversees cross-functional account planning with alignment of resources. The role serves as the primary neuroscience contact for account partners and coordinates with headquarters, accounts, and regional leadership to drive patient access, education, and frictionless experiences for key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of the customer at all levels from departments to C-suite, utilizing insights to anticipate trends and clearly articulate business priorities to deliver appropriate outcomes.
  • Craft strategic approaches to further organizational goals, fostering key customer relationships that enhance account interaction.
  • Manage and lead strategy and execution by coordinating collaboration among headquarters, accounts, and regional leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with account executives at C-suite and D-suite levels, acting as the primary neuroscience contact to facilitate exchanges with executives and headquarters.
  • Foster teamwork and lead collaboration across Customer Engagement teams for the neuroscience portfolio to involve various functions and proactively solve obstacles.
  • Own account performance with a performance-driven mindset, identify opportunities to impact demand generation, and achieve account results.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between the company and key accounts, coordinating with internal teams and predicting strategic changes to align with objectives.
  • Lead a team of Priority Account Managers to drive product pull-through in targeted accounts, coaching and supporting associates‚Äô growth and ensuring high performance and adherence to ethics and policies.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor‚Äôs degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Required: 10+ years‚Äô experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience in first-line leadership, demonstrating strategic thinking and an enterprise mindset within relevant sales or account management roles.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience translating strategy into actionable plans and delivering measurable results in account management.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience leading cross-functional projects requiring national alignment and collaboration.
  • Required: Recent US experience (within last 5 years) with deep understanding of the US Healthcare ecosystem.
  • Required: Proven success in frontline sales and product launches with strong business acumen and ability to thrive in complex, matrixed environments while building high-performing teams.
  • Required: Region-residency or within a reasonable commuting distance (100 miles from region border); ability to travel 60-80% and drive or fly within the territory; valid driver‚Äôs license.
  • Desirable: Deep expertise in neuroscience account management and strategic second-line leadership with experience guiding large teams and shaping enterprise initiatives.
  • Desirable: Ability to build partnerships across healthcare systems from Academic Medical Centers to C-suite decision makers, navigating broader economic forces influencing clinical and operational strategies.

Education

  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree required from a four-year college or university.
