Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting a Priority Accounts team in an assigned geography. The Director, Neuroscience Priority Accounts leads the regional priority account team to meet and exceed objectives across the Neuroscience portfolio, developing and executing the regional customer engagement strategy to support disease area strategies and patient access and education. The role also leads a team of Priority Account Managers and coordinates cross-functional account planning with accountability for resource alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of customers at all levels from departments to C-suite, using insights to anticipate trends and articulate business priorities to deliver outcomes.
  • Craft strategic approaches to advance company goals, align with account interests, and foster key customer relationships to enhance interaction with the account.
  • Lead strategy and execution by coordinating collaboration among headquarters, accounts, and regional leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with account executives at executive levels, acting as the main neuroscience contact to facilitate exchanges with executives and headquarters.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across regional priority accounts with Customer Engagement teams (sales, medical, market access, patient support) to solve problems and remove obstacles.
  • Own account performance with a results-oriented mindset, identifying opportunities to impact demand generation and achieving account performance targets.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between the company and key accounts, coordinating with internal teams and other sectors, and relay strategic changes to inspire teams to adapt.
  • Lead a team of Priority Account Managers to drive product pull-through in targeted accounts, mentoring and ensuring performance and adherence to ethics and policies.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor‚Äôs degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Required: 10+ years‚Äô experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams; experience in other complex sales environments is welcome.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience in first-line leadership, demonstrating strategic thinking and an enterprise mindset within relevant domains.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience translating strategy into actionable plans and delivering measurable results in account management.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience leading cross-functional projects requiring national alignment and collaboration.
  • Required: Recent US experience (within last 5 years) with deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem.
  • Required: Proven success in frontline sales and product launches with strong business acumen and digital engagement proficiency, thriving in complex, matrixed environments with high-performing teams.
  • Required: Residence within the region (or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the region border). Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography; must have a valid driver‚Äôs license.
