Key Responsibilities
- Develop CT network strategy across brands and geographies; assess network capability for new therapies/expansion.
- Define and own enterprise standards, frameworks, and governance for network design, planning, and orchestration.
- Perform internal/external benchmarking; build network business cases with Finance, E2E Demand & Supply Planning, and Product Strategy.
- Own end-to-end enterprise investment strategies/decisions, aligned beyond Cell Therapy into PDS priorities; develop network scenarios for strategic trade-offs.
- Assess network risks, own performance outcomes, and monitor execution of network-level multi-brand projects, escalating as needed.
- Lead network innovation/transformations (automation vision, predictive analytics, AI-enabled operations, regional cryopreservation strategy); define AI/analytics strategy (predictive analytics, optimization models, digital capabilities) with E2E Demand & Supply Planning.
- Partner to embed advanced analytics into core business processes; lead cross-functional alignment with senior leaders and represent BMS externally (forums, conferences, partnerships).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s required (engineering, supply chain, or business); Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years end-to-end pharma/biotech supply chain experience; deep expertise in network planning, manufacturing strategy, and capacity orchestration (vector and drug product).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing network complexities and CMO relationships.
- Proven cross-functional leadership/influence in a matrixed environment; ability to synthesize complex inputs and translate supply chain insights into strategic recommendations.
