Director - Molecular Science Liaison

Role: Lead and manage a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) to communicate Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) value to external stakeholders, primarily physicians and scientists in oncology. Objectives include enhancing market presence, supporting clinical education, and fostering customer engagement. Responsibilities encompass team leadership, staffing, training, tracking activity, and representing CMI at conferences, tumor boards, and regional events. The role involves scientific education, feedback collection from the medical community, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and clinical teams. Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.D. in relevant biological sciences; 3+ years of management experience. Preferred: prior experience in pharma or commercial labs, customer-facing roles, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. High-Value: Oncology focus, molecular diagnostics, customer engagement, field-based role with regular travel, including regional and national events, and involvement in clinical tumor board discussions and educational presentations.
