Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to demonstrate clinical, economic, and humanistic value of dermatology products to payers, HCPs, and HCOs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in managed markets and payer organizations.
- Provide scientific support to payers during formulary reviews and decision-making; present and answer questions on clinical and economic value.
- Synthesize and communicate complex clinical and economic data into value narratives for diverse audiences.
- Use a scientific engagement model to plan and execute payer/HCP interactions aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial to align evidence generation with product lifecycle strategies.
- Lead educational initiatives (e.g., advisory boards and payer-focused programs) to communicate product value.
- Partner on value dossiers, economic models, and other tools for payer negotiations and formulary inclusion.
- Stay current on health policy, payer requirements, and dermatology therapeutic advancements.

Education & Licenses / Experience
- Required: MD, PhD, PharmD, or other relevant advanced degree in health sciences or health economics.
- Preferred: MBA or MPH.
- Required: Minimum 7 years in health economics, outcomes research, or medical affairs in pharma (dermatology preferred).

Competencies & Skills
- Peer-to-peer relationships with managed care and medical dermatology experts.
- Translate complex clinical/economic data into clear value propositions.
- Leadership across cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
- Strong communication/presentation; develop value tools (e.g., slide decks, dossiers).
- U.S. healthcare systems/payer dynamics and HEOR/medical communications regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Anticipate and adapt to policy/market changes; use digital tools/data analytics.
- Align medical value initiatives with commercial objectives.

Other
- Travel ~40% within region (including overnight); may require additional travel.
- Live within territory and near a major airport; valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
