Director, Medical Science Liaison Plastics & Regenerative Medicine

Role: The MSL Director for Plastics & Regenerative Medicine leads a 6-person field-based medical science liaison team, providing strategic direction, operational management, and direct scientific engagement. Responsibilities: oversee team staffing, training, and performance; develop and implement scientific interaction plans for both on-market and pipeline products; serve as the primary MSL in a designated territory to engage KOLs and HCPs, ensuring scientific exchange of high quality; coordinate cross-functional activities with Brand, Medical, and commercial teams; manage team performance, coaching, recruitment, onboarding, and field readiness; and oversee operational logistics, including tool management and vendor contracts. Qualifications: advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred); minimum 5 years of clinical, scientific, or pharma experience with at least 2 years as an MSL; prior leadership experience as a working manager or player-coach is preferred; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to travel 50–60% nationally, with specific familiarity with surgical suites and credentialing processes highly advantageous.
