Director, Medical Science Liaison Plastics & Regenerative Medicine

Role: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Director leads and manages a 6-person MSL team within the Plastics & Regenerative Medicine therapeutic area, combining strategic leadership with active field engagement as the primary MSL in a designated territory. Main objectives include developing and executing scientific interaction plans for on-market and pipeline products, supporting medical and business objectives, and maintaining strong KOL and HCP relationships. Responsibilities encompass team management, coaching, performance evaluation, stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance, and providing scientific support to internal and external stakeholders, including participation in cross-functional teams. Requirements include an advanced health sciences degree (PhD, MD, PharmD preferred), at least 5 years of clinical/scientific/pharma experience with 2+ years as an MSL, prior team management experience, and familiarity with surgical environments and credentialing processes. Proven skills in project management, cross-functional collaboration, team leadership, and regulatory compliance are essential. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on regenerative medicine, surgical settings (OR), and active engagement within a field-based, therapeutic area-specific role. The position reports to the TA Lead, is field-based, and involves approximately 50-60% travel.
