Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate professional relationships with KOLs in designated tumor types.
- Maintain cross-functional field partnerships with commercial teams (sales, market access, etc.) and Clinical Development.
- Maintain and develop synergistic KOL relationships to expand research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.
- Assist Clinical Development with identification/education of potential clinical trial sites; troubleshoot clinical trial conduct issues upon request.
- Develop scientific expertise on Celcuity products, related disease states, and clinical practice for the therapeutic area.
- Communicate scientific content (written and verbal) related to products and disease states.
- Follow all applicable laws, SOPs, and guidance documents to ensure compliance.
- Provide scientific training to internal colleagues.
- Participate in Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes as needed.
- Identify, categorize, and communicate key clinical insights for assigned disease state and products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, or PhD in Life Sciences; D.Sc., D.N.P., or D.O. degree.
- Solid tumor oncology experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex scientific concepts tailored to audiences (e.g., internal staff, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, formulary committees).
- 3+ years of related pharmaceutical Medical Science Liaison experience.
- Breast Cancer experience.
- Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in oncology.
- Experience at small/start-up biopharmaceutical company.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience with payor groups, market access teams, formulary committees, and treatment guidelines.
- Experience managing territory resources and budgets; demonstrated self-starter.
- Experience launching products.
