Role: Lead Medical Affairs strategy and operations for Ipsen's Adult Cholestatic Rare Disease portfolio, serving as the scientific leader for the therapeutic area. Responsibilities include developing and executing medical plans, overseeing advisory boards, managing medical information and communications, guiding clinical study design, and maintaining key opinion leader relationships. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Commercial, and global teams, as well as managing medical education funding and congress activities. Requirements: advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD); 8+ years in pharma, with significant experience in Rare Diseases, preferably Liver or Gastroenterology. Knowledge of clinical trials, biostatistics, and medical communication is essential. Proven leadership in Medical Affairs strategy, excellent communication skills, and ability to work across diverse functions are required. Preferred: clinical research experience.
