Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology and Hematologic Malignancies

Role: Director of Medical Affairs for Oncology & Hematologic Malignancies at Labcorp Oncology, serving as a physician leader providing clinical and scientific expertise in hematologic cancers and oncology diagnostics. Responsibilities include engaging healthcare providers and stakeholders to promote evidence-based diagnostic strategies, developing medical education and scientific communication content, supporting market access initiatives, and contributing to evidence generation and clinical research. The role involves representing the organization at scientific forums, providing physician-to-physician consultation, and collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, research, and laboratory teams. Qualifications: MD or DO with board certification in Hematology, Medical Oncology, or Hematology/Oncology; minimum 7 years of combined clinical, academic, diagnostics, or medical affairs experience; 3+ years of experience developing medical education and scientific content. Preferred: experience in diagnostics, precision medicine, molecular profiling, or biomarker testing; strong knowledge of hematologic malignancies, oncology treatment paradigms, and evidence-based practice.
