Job Description
The Director, Market Access Strategy Cross-Portfolio will sit in Foster City, CA.

Responsibilities
- Monitor industry, policy, and payer trends; translate into portfolio implications and strategic recommendations with Legal, Government Affairs, Public Affairs, and Brand.
- Provide early market access strategy input for pipeline and business development assets (payer insight, access assumptions, launch archetypes, pricing/contracting/distribution/customer engagement implications).
- Support launch excellence via repeatable market access launch readiness processes, milestones, governance touchpoints, and decision frameworks.
- Develop and maintain a framework for long-term national account planning to translate portfolio goals, customer priorities, payer dynamics, and risks/opportunities into account strategies.
- Prepare for executive exchanges with national accounts (portfolio priorities, objectives, key messages) with account teams, VP Chief of Staff, Legal, and cross-functional partners.
- Lead national conference planning (sponsorship selection, end-to-end planning/execution, PRC approval of booth materials and related assets).
- Monitor market access trends using market research/insights and AI-enabled tools to create actionable insights.
- Maintain technologies/business processes; establish methods for operational consistency and process improvement across the Market Access team.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations for commercial and scientific interactions; manage budget/accruals process.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 12 years OR Master’s + 10 years OR PhD + 8 years.

Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive market access/payer strategy/pricing & contracting experience in pharma.
- Experience leading without authority and influencing decision-making.
- Strong analysis, storytelling, and executive presentation to drive recommendations.
- Experience with PRC and understanding of marketing principles/processes.
- Understanding of regulatory environment and programs educating patients/prescribers on drug safety and appropriate use.

Benefits/Compensation
- Salary range: $226,185.00–$292,710.00; may be eligible for annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
