About The Role
- Leads the Market Access Psych/Neuro Franchise Marketing team; develops and executes payer/access strategies to optimize coverage and patient access.
- Provides strategic direction and people leadership; translates Market Access/Commercial objectives into actionable plans.
- Accountable for planning/execution of Market Access promotional initiatives: payer/access messaging, field-based market access training, tools/resource development, vendor management, and project budgets.
- Partners cross-functionally (Marketing, Sales, National Accounts, HEOR/Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Regulatory, Legal, etc.) to align and achieve business objectives.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Lead U.S. Market Access strategy development (issues/opportunities, success factors, product positioning/messaging, IN-office messaging, IDN/key provider materials).
- Build franchise Market Access marketing performance against budget; identify opportunities/risks and adjust priorities.
- Develop reimbursement/market access education strategy and collateral for physicians/practices.
- Co-lead teams to design/execute Pharmacy network strategies.
- Lead contributions to commercial planning; develop annual Market Access strategic/tactical plans (tactics/materials, ROI, budget).
- Identify market research needs; translate findings into access/commercial strategies.
- Ensure legal/regulatory/policy compliance for internal and vendor activities.
- Provide sales-team pull-through, metrics, and materials development; partner with Legal/Compliance; lead/coach and develop team.
Requirements
- BS/BA + 12+ years relevant payer marketing/access/managed markets/market development/account management in U.S. pharma/biopharma (extensive managerial experience). CNS/rare disease/pharmacy benefit experience ideal; product launches and limited distribution models strongly preferred.
- OR Masterβs (preferred) + 10+ years.
- OR PhD (preferred) + 7+ years.
- Strategic thinking; deep specialty drug development/regulatory/commercialization knowledge (including limited distribution).
- Track record of defining market issues/opportunities and launching Market Access campaigns; strong promotional material review experience (Veeva Vault Promo).
- Strong communication, leadership, project management, and cross-functional influence skills.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $201,700β$275,000.
- Annual bonus target: 35% of earned base salary; equity long-term incentive eligibility.
