Role Summary
This is a field-based leadership role focused on market access engagement for Advanced Platforms, responsible for onboarding new treatment sites and providing ongoing market access support across identified key accounts. The role coordinates with channel, pricing, and market access strategy teams and collaborates with cross-functional account teams. Two openings are available.
Responsibilities
- Execute business-to-business engagement for Advanced Platforms products with site of care leaders across community clinics and health system accounts
- Present pricing, contract, rebate structures, and invoice payment timing information to stakeholders
- Enable optimal product access through contracting aligned to strategy
- Use rebate calculators and analytical resources to educate on pricing terms with customer stakeholders
- Lead proactive B2B engagement in assigned accounts and support cross-functional B2B market access discussions; serve as escalation point for engagement-related issues
- Collaborate with Ecosystem Partners (Customer Engagement, Novartis Patient Support, Field Medical) and provide input to market access strategy with field insights
- Share insights on customer experience and suggest process improvements
- Provide insights into market dynamics and competitor activities
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 7 years in account management, patient services, or market access with cross-functional responsibility
- Pricing, contracting, or account management experience OR minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience with financials including formularies, contracting, GPOs, pricing negotiation
- Experience operating in highly complex markets with interdependencies
- Experience coordinating with HQ-based strategy functions
- Ability to travel 50% with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory; valid driverโs license required
