Role: Lead the technical execution and strategic development of Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) within Bristol Myers Squibb's Product Stewardship team. Responsibilities: build and review cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCAs/PCFs, develop digital tools and frameworks, translate regulations into operational programs, and embed life cycle thinking into product design and sourcing decisions. Serve as internal authority on product environmental footprinting, guide platform evolution, and represent BMS in industry collaborations. Qualifications: advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in environmental, chemical engineering, or related field; 10+ years of hands-on experience with cradle-to-garve LCAs and PCFs, ideally in pharma or life sciences. Proficiency with ISO standards (14040/44, 14067), LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi), and databases like ecoinvent. Strong ability to produce audit-ready, third-party-verifiable assessments, and translate technical results into strategic business insights. Preferred skills include familiarity with Watershed, pharma-specific standards, and automation/AI technologies.
