Director, Legal and Compliance

Role: Director, Legal and Compliance at a clinical-stage biopharma focusing on hematologic diseases, supporting commercial, medical, R&D, and market access functions. Responsibilities: provide strategic legal and compliance guidance, review promotional and scientific materials, support product launch and regulatory compliance, enhance data privacy programs (HIPAA, GDPR), conduct privacy risk assessments, develop policies and trainings, and collaborate with outside counsel. Requirements: JD from an ABA-accredited law school, active state bar membership, 10+ years in pharma or healthcare legal/compliance roles, deep understanding of FDA regulations, healthcare laws, and data privacy. Preferred: experience supporting product launches and commercialization activities. High-Value: focus on legal and compliance support for late-stage therapeutic assets in hematology, with emphasis on compliance culture, regulatory navigation, and data privacy. Work setup: hybrid in Watertown, MA.
