General / Position Summary
- Lead enterprise laboratory technology platforms (IT and OT) across labs and manufacturing shop floors, ensuring reliable, compliant, secure, and scalable lab operations in regulated GxP and SOX environments.
- Drive operational excellence, risk management, financial stewardship, and technology evolution.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Build relationships with senior business, quality, and DTE leaders; act as strategic partner.
- Lead and retain a Lab Engineering Support team using a managed service provider model.
- Ensure stable, secure, and compliant IT/OT operations using cyber security, ITSM/ITIL, and lifecycle standards.
- Accountable for laboratory IT/OT in GxP/SOX; partner with Compliance, Cyber Security, Internal Audit, and Quality.
- Own and manage an ~$10M operating budget (planning, forecasting, vendor management, value realization).
- Manage service demand, oversee programs/projects/platform releases, and track performance/financial value metrics.
- Lead modernization initiatives (intelligent/agentic workflows, passive data capture, IoT-enabled environments, wearable/sensor solutions).
- Translate innovation into compliant roadmaps; communicate technical recommendations clearly.
- Manage vendor/service provider relationships; develop and retain talent.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (B.S. or equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years’ relevant experience; leadership managing enterprise technology platforms/support.
- Proven GxP and SOX operating experience; lead programs/portfolios and vendor ecosystems with financial accountability.

- Senior stakeholder partnership; deep IT/OT and cyber security/ITSM knowledge; people leadership; program/portfolio/demand/financial management; executive communication; global multi-site experience; managed services.

Pay Range
- $198,000–$297,000; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.

Flex Designation
- Hybrid or On-Site (hybrid: remote up to 2 days/week; on-site: 5 days/week with ad hoc flexibility).
