Role: The Key Account Director (KAD) in Oncology manages strategic relationships with high-value accounts such as NCI-designated centers, IDNs, and large community oncology groups within the South Atlantic region, focusing on oncology and hematology portfolio access and growth. Responsibilities include building trusted partnerships with clinical, administrative, and access decision-makers, influencing treatment pathways, securing formulary inclusion, and enabling product adoption through clinical and value-based engagements. The role involves deep account profiling, developing strategic account plans, executing contracting strategies, and integrating Incyte’s therapies into clinical pathways, EHR systems, and care protocols. It requires orchestrating cross-functional teams—Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR—to align on account strategies, remove barriers, and support execution. The KAD also leverages account analytics for growth opportunities and monitors account performance. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), at least 10 years of strategic account management experience in oncology or rare diseases, with a proven track record in clinical engagement, relationship development, and health system navigation. Preferred skills include expertise in oncology ecosystems, payer dynamics, and structured account planning. The role demands strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Frequent travel (50%+) is required, and the position covers the South Atlantic states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
