Director, IT Business Solutions Partner – People and Legal

Role: Serve as a strategic, hands-on IT partner and technical owner for People and Legal functions at a biopharma company focused on rare disease therapies. Responsibilities: lead platform architecture and engineering, develop and execute a 12–36 month AI and technology roadmap, oversee vendor relationships, and drive enterprise-wide AI initiatives; support core platforms like Workday, Greenhouse, and CLM; ensure operational readiness and compliance (SOX, GxP); manage vendor selection, SLAs, and governance. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years in enterprise platform technology with 3+ years at senior/architect level; deep experience with SaaS implementations, APIs, security, and production operations; proven experience in defining multi-year tech strategies and AI deployment; familiarity with Workday, VNDLY, Greenhouse, and legal/compliance systems. Preferred: domain knowledge in People and Legal processes, experience in vendor negotiations, and operational stewardship in regulated environments. High-value: enterprise SaaS, AI strategy, GxP/SOX compliance, vendor governance, hybrid work location in San Francisco, minimal travel. Focus on enabling HR, legal, and compliance digital platforms to accelerate biopharma innovation and patient impact.
