Key Responsibilities
- Own IT strategy/roadmap for commercial systems (CRM such as Veeva/Salesforce, ERP, contract management, MDM).
- Lead end-to-end delivery (requirements, vendor selection, implementation, validation, go-live) for commercial technology initiatives.
- Configure systems to support pre-commercial activities (field force deployment, sample/HCP/HCO data management, promotional materials tracking).
- Serve as primary IT liaison for Commercial, Market Access, Marketing, Sales Operations; identify gaps, define requirements, prioritize portfolio.
- Support BI/reporting for market trends, sales performance, and customer engagement.
- Oversee multichannel marketing IT (digital engagement, CMS, marketing automation) and integration with CRM.
- Support payer/account management IT (contract/formulary tracking, gross-to-net analytics) and data/reporting for reimbursement strategy.
- Enable Medical Affairs IT (medical information platforms, KOL tracking, scientific exchange, congress/event management) with compliance for scientific communication.
- Drive launch readiness (system build-out, UAT, training, hypercare) and cross-functional alignment with Regulatory/Legal/Compliance/Finance.
- Lead/mentor commercial IT team; define roles and performance expectations.
- Manage vendors; negotiate contracts/SLAs; hold partners accountable.
- Ensure governance, data integrity, and security.

Required Qualifications
- BS in IT/CS/Life Sciences (MS preferred).
- 10+ years IT; 5+ in business partner/IT lead role supporting commercial functions in biotech/pharma.
- Experience with pre-commercial/launch-stage work; deep expertise in Veeva/Salesforce/SAP or equivalents.
- Strong commercial ops knowledge (field force, strategy, marketing, market access, medical affairs).
- Hands-on delivery across Commercial Strategy/Marketing/Market Access/Medical Affairs.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives; manage/develop direct reports; vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching pharma/biologics; specialty pharma/rare disease models.
- HIPAA/GDPR; PDMA/OIG.
- MDM/data governance; analytics tools (IQVIA, Tableau, Power BI, etc.);
- PMP/ITIL.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $200,000–$240,000 annually.
- Stock options; annual bonus.

Location
- South San Francisco, CA; onsite Tue–Thu (remote case-by-case).
