Position Summary
- Lead Rocket’s enterprise internal communications strategy, connecting employees to the company’s mission, business priorities, scientific progress, culture, leadership, and patient impact.

Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and execute an enterprise-wide internal and employee communications strategy aligned to company goals, culture, values, scientific milestones, business performance, and engagement needs.
- Partner with the CEO, People Team, executive leaders, and functional leaders on communication strategy, messaging, presentations, town halls, forums, manager cascades, and enterprise narratives.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and External Affairs to ensure internal messaging aligns with external disclosures and public company obligations.
- Lead change management communications for transformation efforts, integrations, policy updates, operating model shifts, and business-critical priorities (stakeholder mapping, leader toolkits, FAQs, adoption messaging, feedback loops).
- Write/edit employee communications (announcements, newsletters, intranet stories, executive messages, toolkits, FAQs, videos, digital signage, town hall and event materials).
- Own/optimize internal communication channels (intranet/SharePoint strategy, governance, content standards, email/newsletters, collaboration platforms, town halls, meetings, digital signage).
- Translate the corporate brand for employees and internal initiatives; use storytelling and leadership visibility to connect employees to business priorities and patient impact.
- Partner with People Team on employee experience, culture, recognition, onboarding, and manager enablement.
- Establish metrics and feedback loops to measure effectiveness, reach, engagement, and channel performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism/PR/life sciences/business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years progressive internal/employee/corporate communications experience.
- Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceuticals/life sciences/healthcare or other highly regulated science-driven environment (required).
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and ability to simplify complex scientific/clinical/regulatory/financial/business topics.
- Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities and approvals in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience building internal channel strategies (intranet/SharePoint, newsletters, town halls, collaboration tools, meetings, digital content).
- Demonstrated experience advising senior leadership on enterprise communication strategy, leadership messaging, employee engagement, and change management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional partnering.

Compensation/Benefits
- Expected salary range: $188,000 to $250,000.
