Purpose:
- The Director, Integration and Acquisitions Operations is responsible for seamless management and oversight of integrating new companies or acquired assets into the Operations function, processes, and systems—minimizing disruptions, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining quality and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the AbbVie Integration Office on product acquisitions; lead Integrations and Acquisitions for Operations and ensure plans address unique transaction needs.
- Coordinate functional teams across the integration lifecycle to transition activities and studies into the AbbVie operating model.
- Incorporate BD plans and resource models into integration plans.
- Lead the Operations integration team (direct reports or matrix teams).
- Ensure Operations readiness for Day 1 deliverables and maintain confidentiality.
- Partner with Operations VPs and key leaders on interim/long-term planning, synergies, and integration risk management.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, R&D, and Operations leaders to assign resources for pre- and post-Day 1 integration activities.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and build connections across enterprise functions.
- Ensure integration of people, processes, and technologies; build transition plans with SMEs (business process, training, compliance, change management).
- Create and continuously improve the Operations integration process framework, resources, and tools; maintain continuity and transparency for AbbVie and acquired companies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of Operations experience.
- Proven leadership in complex, multi-function matrix environments.
- Strong understanding of Operations processes.
- Executive-level collaboration and leadership.
- Ability to make decisions with limited information; solve problems with balanced understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Embraces different perspectives and promotes innovation and positive culture.
