Role Summary

Director, Institutional Marketing is responsible for planning and executing Healthcare Professional (HCP)-facing marketing activities for ARCALYST (rilonacept), predominantly through the Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) team with a focus on Recurrent Pericarditis Centers. The role involves developing strategy and tactical plans to support the TLL team, creating tools and resources to educate integrated pericardial disease centers and recurrent pericarditis specialists, and collaborating on brand-related activities such as messaging, congress management, promotional materials, and educational activities. This individual contributor position is based in Lexington, Massachusetts, with in-office presence Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and refine the marketing strategy and tactical plan focused on Recurrent Pericarditis Centers
  • Lead the development and creation of all resources, tools, and materials for the TLL team
  • Where appropriate, coordinate compliant cross-functional initiatives with Recurrent Pericarditis Centers
  • Drive development of HCP facing tactics, including brand messaging, digital initiatives, congress management, promotional materials, and educational activities
  • Manage agency partners and vendors on creation of marketing materials, materials reviews and budget adherence
  • Drive development and approval of materials through the Medical Review Committee (MRC) and/or Promotional Review Committee (PRC) and integrate feedback accordingly to ensure compliant execution
  • In partnership with the TLL team, engage with HCPs and the KOL community to understand needs and solicit insights that can be translated into strategically aligned initiatives and/or resources
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to commercial and corporate objectives

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) with 7+ years of experience in a brand marketing role within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Candidate should have field experience (TLL, sales role or similar)
  • Rare disease / specialty pharma experience is an asset, but not required
  • Candidate should have strong digital marketing experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Team player that can also independently drive projects to completion
  • Solution-oriented, strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to drive innovative thinking
  • Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
  • Strong communicator across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Salary is commensurate with experience
