Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy leader with proven experience leading sales teams to join our team as Director, Inside & Digital Sales. This role is pivotal in leading the execution of our strategic priorities for the Inside Digital Sales (IDS) organization, which is taking on a broader portfolio of business imperatives and responsibilities.
The Director will be responsible for developing and leading IDS Managers, driving performance through solution coaching, business acumen, and strategic execution. This leader will foster a high-performance culture aligned with Zoetis Core Beliefs and play a key role on the Sales Leadership Team. Moderate travel is required to HQ (Parsippany, NJ), regional, and national sales meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Cultivate a high-energy, engaging team culture through daily best practice sharing, goal celebrations, visible analytics, and weekly learning sessions.
- Lead and develop IDS Managers and their teams across our Petcare customer base.
- Apply solution coaching techniques to elevate team performance.
- Collaborate with HQ teams to leverage market opportunities and align strategies.
- Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention through effective coaching, performance management, and use of development tools.
- Dedicate 50% of time to coaching managers on sales performance and professional growth.
Sales Performance
- Achieve or exceed sales targets across key products and accounts.
- Lead successful launches of new products and services.
- Monitor and manage key sales metrics (call volume, talk time, conversion rates) using analytical insights.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans focused on sales skills, time management, training, and product knowledge.
- Oversee daily activity reports and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.
Business Strategy & Execution
- Develop annual strategic business plans including market analysis, performance tracking, and actionable goals.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HQ to identify best practices and optimize processes.
- Coordinate marketing efforts and resource allocation.
- Manage administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
Organizational Relationships
- Thrive in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
- Build and manage relationships across all organizational levels.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Adapt to fluid, complex, and evolving business environments.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Proven success in leading an inside sales call center or field based sales team.
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in people leadership and driving sales performance.
- Experience managing change while maintaining high performance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, business management, and computer skills.
- Background in animal health and veterinary medicine is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,080 - $260,015. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range
for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
