Role Summary

Director, IDS Functional Reporting located in East Hanover, NJ. The role supports the Insights and Decision Science (IDS) team to deliver automated dashboards and actionable insights across Market Access and Novartis Patient Support, partnering with offshore teams and functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ARIA Functional Reporting Center of Excellence (25+ FTEs across US and India), understanding market access and patient services, including business processes and operational challenges.
  • Build relationships with market access and Novartis Patient Support stakeholders to conduct strategic roadmap reviews and analytics deep-dives.
  • Translate business priorities and questions into data insights for all Access & Reimbursement personas
  • Co-define performance indicators and quality metrics with ARIA leadership
  • Deliver insights and analytics for Access & Reimbursement teams through automated dashboards
  • Partner with offshore teams to provide data requirements meeting ARIA needs
  • Lead the reporting Agile team, defining and prioritizing stories in the backlog with analytics teams
  • Manage department budget and resources, including data sources and analytics subscriptions
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders to maintain alignment
  • Promote continuous improvement by using data insights to refine market access strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years as a product owner in agile/scrum, business/ system analysis, with product owner experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in Patient Services, Market Access, or pharmaceutical sales/marketing
  • Experience delivering real-time operational insights in patient services and reimbursement operations
  • Strong leadership and partner management skills, able to integrate operational and strategic functions
  • Ability to develop people; coaching, mentoring, and teaching on the job
  • Proven stakeholder management, project management, and people management abilities
  • Track record in commercial pharmaceuticals and complex analysis
  • Experience synthesizing data into cohesive insights and persuasive recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternatives, and implement solutions

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree in quantitative subjects (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences) strongly preferred
