Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary people leader for the Summit, NJ site; provide visible leadership to executives, managers, and employees.
- Own execution of local people strategy aligned to enterprise direction, regulatory requirements, and site priorities.
- Represent HR in site leadership forums and governance bodies.
- Partner with Cell Therapy Manufacturing/Operations leaders to integrate people strategy with business strategy to improve execution, capability, and resilience.
- Advise leaders on workforce implications of compliance, capacity, and operational change in a regulated environment.
- Anticipate external/workforce/regulatory trends and translate into actionable people and organizational recommendations.
- Translate enterprise People strategies into locally executable plans.
- Lead core HR processes: performance management, talent planning, succession, engagement, rewards, and development.
- Use data/analytics/diagnostics to assess organizational health, talent pipelines, engagement signals, and workforce risks.
- Steward culture and inclusion; lead complex employee relations with ER and Legal.
- Design/guide engagement, change, and communication approaches.
- Orchestrate HR service delivery in a matrixed model; collaborate with global HRBPs/CoEs.
- Provide executive coaching/counsel; represent the site internally/externally on people topics.

Requirements (Qualifications/Skills)
- BA/BS; advanced degree preferred; 15+ years HR business experience.
- Proven leadership and executive coaching; people program/project management.
- Talent management expertise (end-to-end talent acquisition, performance, engagement, DEI).
- Data/analytics skills (analysis, visualization, integrity, diagnostics).
- Learning agility/growth mindset; regulatory compliance understanding.
- Strong business acumen, systems thinking, diagnostic mindset; extensive business partnering/change management/organizational design.
- Experience influencing senior management; engagement and succession planning.
