What You Will Achieve (Responsibilities)
- Provide strategic input into clinical trial designs (patient populations, comparators, endpoints) and analysis to support negotiations, reimbursement, and patient access with global payer and regulatory decision makers.
- Lead the development of the evidence generation strategy for Internal Medicine assets (obesity and non-obesity products) in Primary Care, partnering with a cross-functional team (medical, commercial, access strategy/pricing, statistics, clinical).
- Coordinate local country/regional team evidence needs and incorporate input into the evidence strategy for global market access at launch and through lifecycle.
- Design and execute global HEOR studies (network meta-analyses, non-interventional studies, economic models) from concept through publication.
- Develop patient-reported outcomes strategy and incorporate humanistic and economic endpoints into clinical trials across all phases.
- Disseminate HEOR materials to customers per regulatory guidance and internal SOPs.
- Build strategic partnerships and research collaborations with external experts, healthcare policy makers, payers, and academic/community oncology settings.
Basic Qualifications
- Graduate degree required (e.g., MSc, MPH, PhD).
- 7+ years with MSc/MPH/MBA; 5+ years with PharmD/PhD/DrPH in HEOR or related fields.
- Expertise in HEOR strategy, evidence development, health services research methods, health economic modeling, PROs, statistics, and real-world evidence studies (registries/observational design, analysis, interpretation).
- Ability to independently manage complex non-interventional study projects; knowledge of drug development process.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written English communication.
- Execution mindset; strong project management (contracting, budgeting, vendor management); manage multiple complex projects.
- Cross-functional leadership and ability to work in a matrix organization; organized, detail-oriented.
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge/experience in obesity/internal medicine.
- Experience with HTA organizations (e.g., NICE, CADTH, PBAC, ICER).
- Early-stage development/clinical trials/PROs; early economic models; global obesity/internal medicine launch.
- AI tool experience (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) and awareness of responsible AI.
