Responsibilities:
- Oversees the design and conduct of projects and effectively communicates findings and their strategic impact to internal and external audiences.
- Provides product leadership to HEOR strategic direction aligned with business goals with cross-functional partners.
- Ensures project plans integrate with product strategic plans from matrix teams and commercial interests; provides execution updates; owns and shares project execution decisions; liaises with product team to generate innovative ideas and build buy-in.
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the HEOR book of work under their remit, from strategy development to content pull-through.
- Ensures strong partnership with relevant HEOR COE functions so the HEOR voice is represented in cross-functional meetings.
- Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leaders in cross-functional settings.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 yearsβ experience with a Masterβs (5 years with a PhD; fellowship allowed); professional training in a health field (MD, PharmD, etc.) is a plus.
- Preferred: PhD in Economics, Econometrics, (pharmaco)epidemiology, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience; clinical research experience strongly recommended (pharma preferred); experience leading complex products and/or clinical development for pipeline and on-market products.
- Typically 3+ years of clinical development experience in pharma, CRO, academia, or health consulting, with expert knowledge in a therapeutic specialty.
- Proven cross-functional global leadership; ability to interact internally/externally to support global business strategy.
- Ability to direct compliance knowledgeably and expeditiously in complex regulatory environments.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to inter/intra-project priority conflicts and resource constraints.
- Extensive knowledge of global regulatory, HTA, and PR&A landscape; understanding of other development functions across drug development phases.
- Skills to lead cross-functional teams and manage scientific personnel; able to interact successfully with senior management globally and act as HEOR project/group champion and spokesperson; self-starter with drive for commercial success.
