Role Overview:
The Director, Supply Chain Framework, will lead the design, standardization, and governance of end-to-end supply chain processes. Drives process transformation, operational consistency, and cross-market adoption while partnering across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Clinical, and Commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Design & Governance
- Partner with Global Supply Chain Leadership to develop/maintain end-to-end process standards across Planning, Distribution, Launches, Variations, Value Chain, and Clinical Supply Chain.
- Manage process changes through approval gates and compliance checks aligned with GxP/regulatory requirements.
- Build and sustain frameworks, documentation, and governance routines to keep processes auditable and audit-ready.
- Act as global process authority with accountability for decision governance, prioritization, and escalation.
Transformation & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end supply chain process redesign to improve efficiency, quality, and agility.
- Partner with Digital and Analytics to integrate advanced technologies and data-driven solutions.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement structured improvement plans with measurable impact.
Adoption & Capability Building
- Drive implementation of new processes across all supply chain functions.
- Design training and change management to foster adoption; monitor adherence and performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing team for process excellence, governance, capability building, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Clinical, QA, Commercial, and Finance to align process strategy to business objectives.
- Serve as process owner/escalation point for critical issues; represent Supply Chain Excellence in senior forums.
Performance & Reporting
- Improve supply reliability, inventory efficiency, launch execution, compliance readiness, and planning effectiveness.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting; conduct assessments and benchmark against industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience leading enterprise transformation or global process ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of experience with global supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of S&OP/IBP, planning, logistics, Product Management.
- Proven success driving cross-functional transformation.
- Strong governance, influence, and stakeholder management in a global matrixed organization.
- Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt (highly desirable).
