Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and drive cross-functional Asset Strategy Team effectiveness by translating interconnected strategies into clear asset-level direction and execution.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and manage asset and disease-level risks, including mitigation plans and timely/accurate reporting and timeline development with planning groups.
- Act as the “COO” for the asset; serve as a strategic thought partner by synthesizing cross-functional deliverables into aligned decisions and actions.
- Drive value as a strategic enabler by optimizing team performance, streamlining communications, and creating strategic narratives for governance forums.
- Coach and mentor Deliverable Team PMs (DTPMs) and Project Planners to high-performing project management expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably scientific, business, or technical).
- 4–6+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech across research & development, commercial, project management, and/or operations, with therapeutic-area expertise.
- 3+ years supporting cross-functional teams in Program Management, Commercial, Development, Regulatory, or Operations.
- Demonstrated growth in strategic thinking, leadership, and strategic communication; strong written and verbal communication with audience tailoring.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical program management practices.
- Preferred: Late-stage drug development experience, including launch team participation.
- Experience with global pharmaceutical teams.
