Role Summary
Director, Global Market Access and Pricing Strategy - Oncology. Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ. Lead development, update and execution of the Global Market Access and Pricing strategy, plans and tactics for the Oncology pipeline, collaborating across functions to maximize access and value.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support strategic and tactical activities to support Market Access inputs to the pipeline assets strategy (landscape, payer requirements, value positioning, pricing/access assumptions).
- Lead or support across-brand projects as part of the Market Access, Pricing and Policy workforce, collaborating with Commercial, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, and other functions.
- Coordinate cross-functional Market Access projects with stakeholders across markets to build successful access and pricing strategies, plans and tools.
- Report to the Oncology Global Market Access, Pricing & Policy Team Leader for pipeline products; engage in pre-POC, post-PoC and pre-launch activities.

- Strong strategic and leadership skills; analytical ability to translate clinical information into payer access strategies.
- Strong communications skills; highly collaborative and able to work cross-functionally; coalition-building abilities.
- Understanding of payer value drivers within Oncology and market access landscape evolution; knowledge of metrics for value proposition delivery to payers.
- Experience working across diverse payer archetypes and priorities.
Experience
- Greater than 5 years of relevant professional experience with a proven Global Market Access track record; meaningful experience in a major market valued.
- Business acumen with analytical and financial skills; comfortable with forecast and P&L; quantitative skills.
- Experience leveraging research, scenario analyses and payor/pricing insights to develop global market access strategies and plans.
- Ability to engage with leaders across a matrix organization; influence without direct reporting relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to drive projects to completion.
- Understanding of customer and payor value drivers for adoption of innovative products.
- Significant global pricing experience; grounding in HEOR (modeling, data, RWE, PROs, etc.). Oncology background preferred; clinical development exposure a plus.
Education
- Required Education: Masterβs degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, MBA, MPH, PharmD, Health Services Administration, Economics, or related life sciences field.
- Preferred Education: PhD/Doctorate in Health Economics/Health Policy or related field; additional certifications in Market Access, HTA, Pharmaceutical Pricing, HEOR.
- Additional educational considerations: formal training in Pharmacoeconomics, HTA methodologies, clinical trial design, biostatistics, healthcare systems and policy, oncology therapeutics.
