Role Summary
Director, Global HEOR Parkinson's Disease (OUS) leads the development and execution of HEOR projects for on-market and pipeline assets, serving as the brand/asset leader on cross-functional teams. Responsible for HEOR strategies and execution for at least one asset and/or indication (US or international). May have 1β2 direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the design and conduct of projects and effectively communicates findings and their strategic impact to internal and external audiences
- Provides product leadership to HEOR strategic direction aligned with business goals with cross-functional partners
- Ensures project plans align with product strategic plans from matrix teams and commercial interests; updates on execution; collaborates with product team to generate ideas and buy-in
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of HEOR book of work from strategy development to content pull-through
- Ensures strong partnership with relevant HEOR COE functions to represent a comprehensive HEOR voice in cross-functional meetings
- Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leaders in a cross-functional setting
Qualifications
- Advanced degree, MD, PharmD, MS in Economics, Econometrics, or (pharmaco)epidemiology
- Minimum of ten years working experience with Masterβs; seven years with PhD (fellowship experience acceptable). Professional health field training is a plus
- Experience leading complex products and/or clinical development in support of pipeline development and on-market product support; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Ability to navigate uncharted territory and complex regulatory environments; capable of directing compliance knowledgeably and expeditiously
- Ability to develop creative solutions to inter- and intra-project conflicts, resource constraints, and other deliverables impacts across multiple programs
- Extensive knowledge of global regulatory, HTA, and PR&A landscapes; understanding of other development-related functions related to drug development; experience leading complex products and/or clinical development
- Proven leadership in a cross-functional global team; ability to interact with Senior Management globally and act as HEOR champion and spokesperson
- High goal-orientation; self-starter with desire to achieve commercial success; capable of leading a cross-functional team and managing scientific personnel in clinical research
