Responsibilities:
- Drive and realize value demonstration strategies for Takeda’s global oncology portfolio, delivering differentiated, evidence-based pricing through best-in-class HTA (including EU JCA) and payer decision outcomes; lead cross-functional integration to accelerate market access and measurable commercial performance.
- Lead global health economics (HE) plan development, execution, and continuous optimization, including reimbursement strategy and evidence communication; build and deploy tools/training to maximize adoption.
- Mobilize and align cross-functional/cross-regional stakeholders (R&D, Market Access, LOCs) to integrate evidence requirements and accelerate value realization.
- Co-lead enterprise frameworks (e.g., Integrated Evidence Generation Plans) to align evidence and access strategies with evolving payer/HTA/policy needs.
- Pioneer digital, data science, and AI-driven HEOR approaches; influence enterprise decisions and mentor emerging leaders.
- Shape thought leadership and partnerships to advance HE and value demonstration reputation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Doctorate with 7+ years; Master’s with 9+ years; or Bachelor’s with 12+ years in healthcare with experience in global product value proposition development and payer/HTA/policy interaction.
- Strong knowledge of global payer environment (ex-US including NICE, CADTH, PBAC, EU JCA; US Medicare Part D; ICER; Emerging Markets e.g., China) and reimbursement/pricing decision processes.
- Hands-on experience in health economics, HTA tools/methods/filings, SLRs, ITCs, statistical analysis, and economic modeling.
- Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills; leadership in a matrixed organization; strategic problem solving; ability to influence and translate technical topics.
- Travel: 5–10% domestic and/or international.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Hematology and/or Oncology; Global HTA (including EU JCA) and HTA submissions; direct payer and/or Market Access experience; peer-reviewed publications.
