Director of Global Digital Strategy & Capabilities

Key Responsibilities
Global Digital Strategy:
- Define and lead the International Business Unit digital roadmap aligned to brand objectives and evolving customer journeys.
- Provide guidance on digital strategy, implementation, measurement, and influence strategic/tactical brand planning.
- Translate marketing strategy/content insights into omnichannel engagement plans across paid, owned, and earned channels (web, SEO/SEM, CRM, email, social, digital field tools).
- Serve as digital subject matter expert and key point of contact within the International BU.
- Lead customer/patient-centric omnichannel planning, journey design, and measurement frameworks integrated into yearly brand planning.
- Use digital insights/data to drive segmentation, targeting, channel selection, journey development, and campaign orchestration.
- Partner with Brand/Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Digital Operations to integrate digital strategy into execution.
- Manage media spend, AOR, and media partner relationships; define ways of working with agencies/media partners.
- Embed digital standards and industry best practices in initiatives and journey management.

Global Capabilities & Digital Excellence:
- Advance global capabilities (CRM, CMS, CDP, marketing automation, Customer 360, MMX, governance frameworks).
- Build brand-team digital literacy; support the Digital COE.
- Enable digitally-driven segmentation/targeting and advance BU digital maturity via governance standardization.
- Support persona development, segmentation, patient journey mapping, and HUB strategies.

Global Digital Governance & Measurement:
- Establish standards for execution/measurement; evaluate vendors/platforms; enforce cross-functional governance.
- Define KPIs/metrics; build scalable playbooks, dashboards, and attribution; track omnichannel/field outcomes.
- Provide executive reporting; develop/manage digital budgets and investments.
- Drive Marketing Mix Modeling enablement roadmap.

Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in pharma/biotech/medical devices in multichannel/omnichannel marketing, strategy, and execution.
- Proven omnichannel scaling with measurable commercial impact.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally to design/operationalize omnichannel strategies.
- Experience managing multiple agencies of record for omnichannel development/execution.
- Strong accountability, collaboration, adaptability, and results orientation.
- Preferred: CRM, marketing automation, and Marketing Mix Modeling.
- Strong change management; ability to lead transformation in matrixed environments.
- Minimum requirements: track record executing omnichannel campaigns with data-driven experimentation and customer/patient centricity.
- Familiarity with CRM/CLM, CMS, marketing automation, digital measurement tools, and cloud solutions.
- Deep understanding of SEO/SEM, social, email, content, paid media, UX, and performance measurement.
- Experience with digital transformation/change management in matrixed organizations.
- Strategic, results-driven, passion for digital innovation; know best practices for customer orchestration.
- Ability to travel 10%.
